I understand that I’m woefully late to this party, but I’ve just finished watching the entirety of Ted Lasso on Apple TV+. And, as did so many others, I absolutely loved it. To be honest, I’m a bit made at myself for waiting so long to watch it! But, then again, I had to wait until I could pay for Apple TV+ to actually be able to watch it.
I found the series to be inspiring, heartwarming, hilarious, heart-wrenching, and sometimes all too relatable. I loved the characters — Roy Kent and Coach Beard were my favorites — and I have to admit that I even came around to liking Jamie and Keely, both of whom I wasn’t all that fond of at the end of the first season.
I know the largest reason this show ended after three seasons is that Jason Sudeikis had scheduling conflicts with filming and such, and I totally understand that. However, I very much would love more of this show. I’m hopeful that it reappears sometime in the future…somehow.
